subject of fresh proceedings before the Supreme Court of Hong Kong

and the third is presumably the case referred to in your correspondence

with Messrs. Maddin & Company. I should therefore be grateful if

you would address an enquiry on the subject to that firm and inform

me at your convenience whether the parties to that decree have

decided to resort to fresh proceedings as has been done in the two

analogous cases, or whether there exist in that single case special

circumstances which make it desirable to reconsider the need for

validating legislation.
